Message From the Chair...
Dear Friends,
I am excited to continue as our Western New York Chapter Chair for 2024. As the Chapter Chair, I wish to make myself available to you. In 2023, the Chapter navigated the return to the new normal after the pandemic that redefined how we all do business and live. Returning to life of a pre-pandemic world setting was an adjustment.
Last year, we held the annual golf tournament, which supports the Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon, which we moved to be held in May. We enjoyed the following meetings: Critical Infrastructure and Security, presented by Paul Jackson; Situational Awareness & Pre-Attach Behaviors, Presented by Dr. Jim Warwick; The FBI Made in Beijing: The Plan for Global Market Domination; a tour of Highmark Stadium by the Buffalo Bills Security Team; a tour of Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station; The Postal Inspector presented on recent trends in mail theft, subsequent financial crimes deriving from mail theft, and techniques to prevent victimization; and a tour at Seneca One Tower.
The Western New York ASIS 007 board looks forward to engaging and learning while creating networking opportunities for our members.
Please join and follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ASISWesterNewYorkChapter/

Our Chapter looks forward to hosting the 50th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon in May at Salvatores. We hope you will come out to honor law enforcement for their continued dedication. The celebration of law enforcement and the scholarship we can donate is due to the dedication and commitment of our members. The annual golf tournament is in July at Chestnut Hill Country Club. We welcome you, as well as a guest, to attend any of our meetings. Come and discover what ASIS is about and what we have to offer: a network of like-minded associates from Western New York who share various security and law enforcement backgrounds. This group has the resources available for educational growth, which you can use to increase your knowledge and assist you in your current profession.
Please contact me or any other board member if you want to learn anything. Our continued commitment to the Chapter and each other can bring us success in 2024.
