Job Opportunities with Roswell Park: Special Police Lieutenant Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Division of Public Safety Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: TBD Summary: Special Police Lieutenants manage the public safety regular, per diem, and contracted staff, and transportation driver staff, during their assigned shift; supervises a staff who perform general security work for the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of Roswell Park, Federal, State and local laws, policies and procedures and rules and regulations; manages the prevention of losses due to accidents and incidents; possesses arrest powers while on duty. The duties of the Special Police Lieutenant, include, but are not limited to, the qualification and the use of duty firearms. As well, Sergeants supervise contracted and per diem staff, Public Safety dispatchers, and transportation staff assigned to Public Safety.
